District Committees

Discussing and learning about the aspects of elementary literacy and the resources and approaches that CET uses to this end.  Discuss and make suggestions for future work and implementation.

Looking at current data and research regarding best practices in assessment and feedback. Examining authentic and innovative assessment practices.

Examining research in K-12 and higher education related to the evolving meaning of what success looks like for all on students, on a student and district-level, beyond standardized metrics.

Exploring how technology, including the emerging role of Al in education, can enhance innovative, equitable, and future-ready learning experiences across all grade levels.  Drafting the District's next Technology Plan, ensuring it reflects both current needs and future aspirations.

Sharing in decision making and school-based planning among parents, administrators, teachers, and students.  There is a separate council at each of the school buildings.

Monitoring the condition of school buildings and grounds to assure that they are safe and maintained in a state of good repair.  Investigating health
and safety complaints, monitoring safety during construction projects, and compleing project walk-throughs.

Planning for improvement of athletic programs, providing feedback on athletic resources and facilities, fostering communication/ collaboration among athletics, coaches, parents, and community.

The Wellness & Social Emotional Learning Committee is a group dedicated
to fostering the social-emotional well-being of all students, through school, community, parent engagement, and district-wide programs.

The School Counseling Advisory Committee reviews the district's school counseling program and provides feedback to the district that will support the school counseling program and influence the K-12 Comprehensive Guidance Plan.
