Sarah was elected to her third term on the Croton-Harmon Board of Education in 2023 and currently serves as the chair of both the Advocacy and Communications committees, and is a member of the Board Development committee. She previously served as President of the Board from 2019-2024. Sarah and her husband, Tim, have lived in Croton for 19 years. Their son, Owen, attends CHHS.

Additionally, Sarah serves on the Board of Directors for the Westchester Putnam School Boards Association (WPSBA). Her current role is Vice President and chair of the Legislative Advocacy Committee. Sarah also serves this year as the Area 10 delegate and chair for NYSSA’s Resolutions committee.

Sarah is an editor and supervisory analyst of institutional equities research, with more than 20 years of experience. She currently works at Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc. Sarah is also on the Board of Directors of Groundwork Hudson Valley, a Yonkers-based non-profit organization that transforms urban neighborhoods through partnerships that inspire young leaders and support local economic development.
