Theo Oshiro was elected to his first term on the Board in 2022. He is a member of the Policy and Communications Committees, and serves as Board Liaison to the District Emergency Response Team. Theo, his wife Sarah, and two daughters live in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Croton. Theo's daughters, Paz and Inés, attend PVC. Theo has worked as a non-profit leader for over 20 years, working to improve the lives of low-income and immigrant communities in the United States. Through his professional role, Theo works on federal, state and local policy and runs high-impact programs that positively impact millions of people each year. Theo got his B.A. from New York University and a Masters from the University of Chicago. Theo is also a Board member of the National Partnership for New Americans and Non-Profit Westchester and is a member of County Executive's Hispanic Advisory Board.
