Meals & Nutrition
Welcome Back
We are pleased to offer meals to all students for the 2025-2026 school year. All children in the school will receive meals at no charge regardless of household income. However, families are strongly encouraged to complete and submit the Free and Reduced-Price application as this form is used to determine eligibility benefits for State and federal funding/programs. Families who believe they qualify for free/reduced meals must complete an application and return it to the guidance office at your child’s school. For students, the price per additional meal will be $3.00 for breakfast and $4.00 for lunch. Ala carte items (snacks, drinks, etc.) will be available for an additional charge and payable through a student's My School Bucks account. Further details are available through the links on this page.
The USDA (Department of Agriculture) has established new dietary guidelines that moderate calories while increasing whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Students meals will include the following:
Breakfast:
- 2 servings of whole grains (cereal, bagels, muffins, breakfast bars, cereal bars)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen fruit (apple, orange, banana, peaches, applesauce, strawberries)

Lunch:
- 2 oz. of meat/meat alternative
- 1 cup fruit serving
- ¾ cup vegetable service (1 cup at the high school)
- 2 servings of whole grains
- 8 fluid ounces of milk (1% or Fat Free)
Students must select a minimum of three items and one MUST be a fruit or vegetable serving to be charged the meal price. Additional items are offered a la carte for an additional charge.
Child Nutrition Program
Our goal is to serve nutritious, well-balanced meals that appeal to students and the school community that meet the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program requirements. Information on our standards can be accessed here.
The District utilizes a computerized POS (Point of Sale) system that stores student allergy information, if applicable. Please contact your child’s school nurse to ensure this information is up to date.
In an effort to facilitate contactless serving, cash payments are strongly discouraged. Parents are encouraged to utilize MySchoolBucks to provide electronic funds for student lunch payments.
Online payments for food purchases may be made by establishing an account with MySchoolBucks.com. To establish an account, a student ID number is required which can be found on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or by contacting your child’s school office.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to call Gary O'Grady, our Aramark Food Service Director:
