Our Philosophy

Athletics, a microcosm of life, continuously challenges our limitations and plays a tremendous role in our overall development. Our philosophy utilizes the teachings of our district and department’s core values to produce successful outcomes for each individual and team by contributing to the development of well-rounded individuals. This is made possible through the fostering of positive experiences and relationships, while challenging our student-athletes to maximize their capabilities, on and off the field. It is our mission to establish an environment that facilitates a safe, equitable and educational interscholastic experience to those who demonstrate both a passion for learning and a willingness to be a productive member of the team, school and community.

Our Purpose

Through our collective experiences and love for our respective sports, we look to educate, mentor and positively impact the character of our student-athletes by translating athletic experiences into life lessons.

Drivers' Education Update

THE PTSA IS NOW ASSISTING WITH DRIVER'S EDUCATION
The PTSA has partnered with Ivy League Drivers Ed School to bring you information and an opportunity to sign your child up for online drivers' education classes. Once 16 and you have your NYS Learner Permit from the DMV, your child will need 24 hours of classroom instruction in order to obtain a Senior (unrestricted) License at 17. Ivy League Drivers Ed offers many convenient virtual classes and will donate 10-20% back to the CHHS PTSA when you sign up. Please see the attached link for more information about the steps you need to take to get your license at 17.  Ivy League Drivers Ed
