Scholar Athlete

NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete Program:

The NYSPHSAA awards Varsity individuals and teams based upon their academic performance in a given season.  A team is recognized as a scholar-athlete team if 75% of the team's participants earn a 90% cumulative grade for the quarter in which their season is played.  Teams receive a certificate for their academic accomplishment.  Individuals are recognized as a scholar-athete if the student earns a 90% cumulative grade for the quarter in which their season is played.  Individuals receive pins for their academic accomplishment.
