Board Service

Three (3) School Board Member positions in the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District will be filled by election on May 16, 2023. At that election, voters will select three trustees beginning three-year terms from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2026.  Each position is at-large, to be elected by all participating voters. 

Qualifications for service as a member of the School Board are: Must be a citizen of the United States of America; must be a minimum of 18 years of age; must be a resident of the District for one year prior to the election; and must be able to read and write.  For more information, email Tracey Borges, School District Clerk, at Tracey.Borges@chufsd.org
Residents of the District who desire to run for a position on the School Board must file a nominating form with the School District Clerk on or before 5:00 PM on Monday, April 17, 2023. 
The Annual Meeting, including the election of School Board Member(s), the votes on the 2023-2024 school district and library budget and a proposition authorizing the District to borrow funds for the purchase of school buses, will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
