Board Service
Two (2) School Board Member positions in the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District will be filled by election on May 21, 2024. At that election, voters will select two trustees beginning three-year terms from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2027. Each position is at-large, to be elected by all participating voters.
Qualifications for service as a member of the School Board are: Must be a citizen of the United States of America; must be a minimum of 18 years of age; must be a resident of the District for one year prior to the election; and must be able to read and write. Residents of the District who desire to run for a position on the School Board must file a nominating form with the School District Clerk on or before 5:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2024.
The Annual Meeting, including the election of School Board Member(s), the votes on the 2024-2025 school district and library budget and other propositions on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
