Reminder: *Attention Parents of Juniors and Seniors*
In accordance with federal law, recruiters from the various branches of the United States Armed Forces are authorized to request that the school district provide them with directory information about students in our schools, specifically the names, addresses and telephone numbers of students. You may recall seeing a form related to this in your summer mailing, however, it is important for every family to read, review, and make a decision using the updated letter. Here is a link to the letter in English and the letter in Spanish.
Please review carefully, print, sign, and return following the instructions in the letter if you or your child are indicating that you wish to opt-out. Students 18 and older may sign for themselves; students under 18 must have a signature from a parent/guardian. If you need a hard copy, we have them available in the main office. This letter will be sent to junior and senior students via email as well so that they are aware and we will be discussing in our upcoming CHAP. Please feel free to reach out to the CHHS Main Office if you have any questions and please note that the form is due by January 31, 2020.
