District and School Communications to Parents/Guardians

Starting July 1, CHUFSD will move from K12 Alerts to ParentSquare. ParentSquare will replace all current functions of K12 Alerts and offers exciting new features including the ability to download an app, translation capabilities, and a more modern, streamlined interface. 

In order to prepare for this transition, we ask each of you to register an account in ParentSquare. Check your inbox for an email with an invite link. Before you set up your profile, please review the following information:

  • For security purposes, your account can only be activated through the invite link in your email.

  • Family information (address, phone number, etc.) cannot be changed in ParentSquare but can be done via self-service in the
    Infinite Campus Parent Portal

  • If you have any questions or do not receive an invite email, please don't hesitate to reach out at 


What's ParentSquare?

The Croton-Harmon School District uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

Here's What You Can Do With ParentSquare:

  • Receive messages from the District and School via email, text, or app notification.
  • Choose to receive information as it comes, or all at once at 6 pm daily.
  • Communicate in your preferred language.
  • More features to come!
