Croton-Harmon’s graduation ceremonies at Croton Point Park are a time-honored tradition eagerly awaited by students, families, and staff alike. Amidst the joy and celebration, it's easy to overlook the immense effort and dedication required to make these events a reality. 

"Each year, I am incredibly proud of the team for their unwavering dedication and meticulous attention to detail in making our graduation ceremonies so special. Their hard work and commitment truly make a difference in creating unforgettable experiences for our students and families," shared Brad Kennedy, Director of Facilities.

Head custodian Greg Cicero, a CHHS graduate himself, recently completed his 30th graduation ceremony as a district employee. He shed light on the tireless work of the facilities team, emphasizing, "It takes a team of dedicated professionals to make each new graduation even better than the year before."

The Facilities team's responsibilities are extensive. They coordinate the tent and stage setup, arrange chairs and tables, run electricity to power the event, manage parking, set up backdrops, transport musical instruments and diplomas, manage parking, greet guests, hand out programs, and even transport attendees in golf carts. Their unwavering commitment to excellence ensures that every detail is meticulously taken care of, contributing to the smooth and memorable execution of the graduation ceremonies. Their planning, expertise, and welcoming attitude were integral to creating a perfectly executed and enjoyable experience for everyone. Without their tireless efforts behind the scenes, such a successful event would not have been possible.
