School Closings/Delays
When schools are closed in Croton due to inclement weather, no district students will be transported to private, parochial, or BOCES schools. However, in the event of a delayed opening, all district buses will start their pick-ups accordingly. Transportation will be provided should there be an emergency dismissal for any reason.
Students will not be dismissed without attention to their safety getting home. It is essential that parents or guardians provide the district with the name and telephone number of a person who can receive the student in the event the parent is not home. This information should be updated each year in the district's student information system.
