Seniors strolled down memory lane this morning as they walked from Spencer Field to CET in their caps and gowns to be celebrated by the elementary school students and teachers. Principal Dubak led the way, past the cheers of district office employees, with playing pomp and circumstance from a small speaker she carried with her. Applause erupted as they turned the corner into the front circle at CET.
The majority of seniors present had gone to CET and some of their teachers were still there, cheering them on. One CET student, Stephania, kept a look out for her babysitter Olivia. "I was so happy to see her!" she said.
As some of the seniors departed they could be heard saying how great the walk through was and that "it's starting to seem real."
Graduation will be held tomorrow, June 24, at 4:00pm followed by a car parade beginning at Croton Point Park and going through the Village.
