Mr. Campanaro has spent his entire professional career as an educator in the Croton-Harmon Schools, specifically at CET. He has taught in third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms and has also served in the role of instructional support services.
“Craig is a fantastic educator who brings his knowledge, humor, and respect to students and colleagues each day,” said CET Principal Kerri Bianchi. “I was so fortunate to have him as a partner last year as we continued working through COVID-related challenges, as well as to begin implementing new ideas here at CET.”
Upon Craig’s appointment, Superintendent Stephen Walker shared, “I am thrilled to officially welcome Craig to the administrative team. His many years of outstanding work as a teacher at CET, along with his leadership while serving as a Teacher On Special Assignment, have enabled him to develop trusting relationships with faculty and staff members, students, and their families. The strength of these relationships, combined with his approachable style and experience as an educator, make Craig the ideal person to work alongside Mrs. Bianchi in support of the vision and goals of CET and our district.”
Mr. Campanaro earned his Undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany, Masters degree at Pace University and administrative degree at SUNY Plattsburgh. Outside of school, Mr. Campanaro enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters in
the Adirondacks and Cape Cod, construction management, and cheering on the Mets, Rangers and Jets.
“It was 28 years ago that I was given my first teaching opportunity as a Fifth Grade Teacher at CET, and it is a privilege to continue my career as an Assistant Principal in the district I call home. I want to thank my amazing, dedicated, and professional colleagues for all of their support, and I look forward to continue making connections and memories with the students and families in Croton,” Craig shared.
