NYSED Parent Dashboard
The New York State Education Department has released detailed data about the performance of all public schools and we are thrilled to share that the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District has received numerous excellent scores.
This new dashboard https://data.nysed.gov/parents/ provides a wealth of information about the district with tools to allow comparison to other schools in the county and state. Here are just a few highlights about our district:
College, Career, and Civic Readiness is at Level 4 (on a scale of 1-4). This is an indication of how well the school or district has prepared its students for life beyond high school.
Our Social Emotional Learning materials support the state's ESSA plan priorities and promote a positive school climate. The resources outline benchmarks and frameworks for educators to implement Social Emotional Learning practices in their schools and classrooms.
Proficiency in ELA and Math among CHUFSD students (grades 3-8) is considerably higher than the Westchester County average.
ELA - NYSED 2019
MATH - NYSED 2019
CHUFSD has been recognized as having a positive school climate which promotes school safety, student self-esteem, emotional well-being, mental health, and lower incidences of substance abuse, student absenteeism, and suspensions.
